Little Footprints Preschool was founded on a simple belief: that early childhood is not a preparation for life — it is life, rich and meaningful in its own right. Nestled in the heart of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, our classroom is a space where curiosity is honored, mistakes are celebrated, and every child moves at their own gentle pace.
We draw inspiration from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf traditions — not to follow any single philosophy, but to create something more honest: a learning environment that trusts children to be who they are. Here, a child might spend the morning planting seeds, the afternoon building a tower of blocks, and the evening watching clouds drift across the playground sky. Each moment matters.

Small Class Sizes

Ages 2–3 · Half-Day
A gentle introduction to the preschool world. Through sensory play, music, and guided exploration, your child builds confidence, language, and the social foundations that will serve them for years to come.
Wandering Minds
Ages 3–4 · Half-Day
The heart of preschool years. Children deepen their language skills, begin to understand numbers and patterns, and learn to navigate friendships — all through open-ended projects, storytelling, and imaginative play.
Ready Steps
Ages 4–5 · Half-Day
Preparing for the transition to kindergarten without rushing it. Children refine their pre-literacy and numeracy skills, practice focused work, and develop the independence and curiosity that make school a joy.
